What does marine life have to do with U.S. – Cuba relations?

Did you know that marine life played a role in reopening relations between the U.S. and Cuba? In the first episode of the second season of CNN’s The Wonder List with Bill Weir, Weir heads to Cuba to examine the role the oceans played. He meets with local marine biologists to discuss the importance of preserving Cuban coral reefs, which are often referred to as “the crown jewel” of the Caribbean.
