A new eLearning initiative from Marine Testing Solutions (MTS) aims to make the maritime industry much safer and more efficient.

In a news release, MTS notes that many employees in the maritime industry were only given the most basic training required to fulfill their roles, as owners and operators are often reluctant to implement formalized training programs. But industry regulations are becoming increasingly strict, and that’s where eLearning comes in.

MTS now offers five eLearning courses that can be completed at any time in any place. In addition to costing less than sending employees to training centers, online courses can be paused and restarted as many times as needed, ensuring that employees possess the skills and knowledge necessary to work safely and efficiently.
