Editor’s Note — This new infographic was a collaborative effort between 911metallurgist and Neomam Studios to inform the public about the issue of deep sea mining. 911metallurgist has been working in mineral processing since 1971 and wants to educate and inform the world about advances in the mining industry and encourage everyone to join in the debates regarding mining. Neomam Studios are a design and outreach agency that specializes in infographic design. Since 2011, they have created over 250 infographics, many of which have been featured in Forbes, MTV, Wired and more.

    As their website states “911Metallurgist is who you call if you want more from your Metallurgical Plant!”

    Giving any creedence to a graphic about deep sea mining paid for by a this company seems a bit like listening to Pacific Gas and Electric talk about plumbing.

    This is a charm offensive for investors, nothing more.
