In the wake of the nationwide seafood fraud scandal, we thought we would help you choose restaurants that serve sustainable seafood so you can eat with confidence.

This post was moved to a new Sustainable Seafood page. It will be updated frequently so check back soon to see what restaurants we’ve added!

Does one of your favorite restaurants make an effort to help the ocean? Do you know a chef who is committed to serving only sustainable seafood? Let us know in the comments section below, or by sending an email to info@marinesciencetoday.com. Hope to hear from you!

I’ve read a lot about Turner Fisheries in Boston being 100% sustainable. Any chance you could help me verify that? It would be so cool if apps like Yelp made it easier to search for qualities like this (and local ingredients) in nearby restaurants!

Well their menu looks great. Diver scallops, striped bass and gulf shrimp are all ‘best choice’ or ‘good alternative’ on SeafoodWatch.org! They also got a 3.5 blue fish rating on Fish2Fork which is pretty impressive. We’ll explain a little more about Fish2Fork in the next post. Thanks for suggesting another great restaurant for us!
