Did you know that there are 398 national parks in the U.S. and they include places like battlefields, historic homes and even seashores?
In two weeks, you can learn everything you ever wanted to know about national parks because April 20-28 is National Park Week! That means there’s free admission to every single national park in the U.S. from April 22-26.
This Earth Day (April 22) head to the closest park and enjoy some of the most beautiful places in the country. If you live on the coast, you might even be lucky enough to see some of the migratory species that benefit from national parks like humpback whales and leatherback sea turtles.
